The first anniversary

Faux-pretentious, moi? is a year old. What a fine medium for my rants it's turned out to be.

Ahem.

Actually, it appears i should have posted this on the 13th, but I'd got it into my head I'd started this on 15th April. Oops ...

In celebration, dear reader, I have but one requirement of you: leave me a comment saying where you're from and how you came upon this blog of mine. And if anyone dares use the word "blogoversary", I shall glare.

    You can have my children, I don't want them. (You know, if I ever had any, which I don't expect.) I just want a cat or two and a golden retriever.

    Good to hear from you, David - I hope to hear more of your singing activities in future, not to mention about the American choral tradition. There's presumably more to it than the Mormon Tabernacle Choir ...

    If Spencer and I are to be parents, Andy, how about I settle for being an honourary uncle to your children? (I'd also hope your little menagerie gets along with the spaniel I'm intending to get.) As for the circumstances of our meeting, I came across your profile on OKCupid and promptly delved into your blog, presumably just over a year ago.
